Programme
The Marie Curie Initial Training Network "Environmental ChemOinformatics (ECO)" was holding the Winter School 2011 at the Hochschule Fresenius (HSF) in Idstein, Germany.
Fundamental training to the fields of chemoinformatics was offered, including lectures in environmental analytics, PLS method, Experimental Design and QSAR/QSPR modelling as well as complementary skills in project management.
Guest speakers were invited for the theoretical lessons and the training was completed with hands-on training in the lab and on the server. Additionally a field trip to the Waterworks Schierstein for on-site sampling perfected the programme.
