Programme
The Marie Curie Initial Training Network "Environmental ChemOinformatics (ECO)" will hold the ECO Winter School 2013 at Linnaeus University in Kalmar, Sweden.
Training will be offered on REACH requirement for model description and validation according to the OECD principles. A deeper understanding of modern methods of data analysis will be reached using neural network, random forest, support, vector machines, Gaussian processes and consensus modelling. A special focus of the school lies on the problems of overfitting of nonlinear methods, applicability domain of ensemble models and data integration.
Guest speakers will be invited for the theoretical lessons and the training will be completed with hands-on training in the lab and on the server.
